Roy Frady's Obituary
Roy Lee Frady, 85, of Decatur, IL passed away March 10. 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Roy was born December 2, 1933 in Sylva, NC, the son of Claude Ellis and Sarah Lee (Miller) Frady. Roy was a veteran of the US Navy. He married Joanne German on March 16, 1963 in Union City, TN.
Roy had worked for many years as a boiler maker and was employed by Superior Welding and Architectural Iron Works.
Surviving are his wife, Joanne; sons, Brian Frady of Lexington, KY, Barry Lynn Frady (Eva Juhl) of Ballincollig, Ireland; brothers, Wiley Howard Frady (Bernice) of Bryson City, NC, John A Frady (Fannie) of Cullowhee, NC, Richard D. Frady (Ella) of Sylva, NC; granddaughter, Emma Frady and #12 Thomas Clark of Webster, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 15, 2019 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
