Roy Allen Morrison's Obituary
Roy Allen Morrison, 75, of Assumption, IL, passed away at 6:24 A.M. on Tuesday (05-16-2023) in his residence.
Roy was born on November 1, 1947, in Pana, IL, the son of Donald Morrison and Charlotte Erisman.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Roy was a member of the V.F.W. Post # 6557 in Assumption, IL, Elks # 1261 of Pana, IL, and the Moose Lodge # 1015 in Pana, IL. He loved to trap shoot and enjoyed photography.
Roy is survived by his son: Allen Morrison of Findlay, IL; daughter: Kelly Donaldson and husband Mike of Pawnee, IL; companion Jeannie Francisco of Assumption, IL; Family: Brad Francisco and wife Ann of Waterford, WI and Jennifer Ballard and husband Scott of Cumberland, ME; 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Don Ray Morrison and wife Jackie of Assumption, IL and Tom Morrison of Assumption, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Julie Meyer.
Graveside services will be held at 1pm on Friday, May 26 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Assumption, IL, with military rites conducted by the V.F.W. Assumption, IL.
