Rudolph Lettrich's Obituary
Decatur-Rudolph Lettrich Jr., 64, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
He was born January 24, 1951, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, the son of Rudolph Sr. and Margaret Joann (Fox) Lettrich. He was previously employed with PPG retiring in 2005 with thirty-two years of service. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed model trains, corvettes, and NASCAR. He married Anne Ewing.
He leaves behind his wife Anne, children Andrew Lettrich and Sara White (Joey), stepchildren Joshua Kupish (Abbey) and Dawn McCoy (Jon), brothers Larry Lettrich (Chris), Jeffrey Lettrich (Kathy), grandchildren Bailey Foil, Alex Kupish, Abbey Kupish, Madelyn McCoy, and Michael McCoy, first wife Sandra Lettrich, nephew Jesse Lettrich, and nieces Lauren Kresak (Tony) and Lacey Lettrich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Uncle Andrew Lettrich, and stepson Michael Kupish.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff with ER, Cath Lab, and ICU at St. Mary’s Hospital and Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois.
Services to celebrate Rudolph’s life will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1 Bachrach Court Decatur, with Pastor Wray Offermann officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the services at the church. Inurnment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family in care of Anne Lettrich.
