Decatur- Sally A. Schumacher, 63, of Decatur, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012, at her home, with her family at her side. A service to celebrate the life of Sally will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Cross Read Obituary
I am so sorry to read that Sally had passed away. I haven't seen her for a couple of years and did not know she was ill. I met Sally when we both worked at GMAC. Sally got me through the rough period surrounding my divorce and I will always remember her for that. I'm sorry I couldn't be there for Sally when she was ill.Wendy, you and your family will be in my thoughts Wednesday as you hold her memorial service. I wish I would be there, but unfortunately I cannot.
I consider it a blessing to have known Sally for several years. She was a special person, with a big heart. Always ready to help family in need, she had a strong work ethic and worked hard to keep her home clean and her yard in shape, doing more physical labor than most women her age, until she lacked the strength to continue.I only wish that life could have offered her more time, more joy. Wendy, you have been a wonderful sister. Just know that she is resting in peace now, free of pain and sorrow.

It is not good bye my friend, it is until we meet again.
We will miss Sally very much. Love and strength to all of her family.She loved animals, as we do, and we loved her for that. She was a special lady.
