Sandy was my assistant at Illinois Power Company for several years. She was so pleasant to be around and so very capable as well. Sandy was so good in reading & understanding my poor handwriting, that my wife Betty would call her at work to help decipher a message that I left for Betty at home!
In retirement, Betty & I would always spend time together in Florida during the winter and attend Church with her at Gospel Baptist in Bonita Springs. So many great memories including many Panera Breakfasts in Decatur while not in Florida. She was always so punctual at Illinois Power, including getting me to meetings on time, that it carried over to mealtimes in retirement.
One of my coworkers said of Sandy when he found out of her passing:
"Such a wonderful, pleasant person to be around. "
We will miss her dearly, but she is heaven now.

Sandy was a sweet member of Temple Baptist Church on Decatur, IL prior to moving to be with her family. We were so sad to hear about her passing. She is in Heaven now, her new home.
