Quinlan, Scott M., 59, of Decatur, Illinois, went to heaven on February 11, 2024.
Scott was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 13, 1964, the son of Gary and Metta (Adams) Quinlan. Scott was a retired welder. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved boating, sailing, and anything to do with sunshine, warm weather, and water. Scott jumped at the chance to go scuba diving with Hailey and Garrett. He liked fixing jet skis with Garrett. He enjoyed his time with his grandpups when Hailey brought them out. He had a love for all animals.
He was always researching laws. He had memorized 8 amendments and was proud to know them.
He will be loved forever.
Surviving are his wife Kim of 33 years of Decatur, daughter Hailey (Wyatt) of Macon, and son Garrett (Remi) of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Scott. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, February 15 at Central Christian Church. Visitation will take place prior to the service, beginning at 10:00am. Memorials may be directed to Central Christian Church. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
