My first and lasting impression of Sharon when I first met her was that she reminded me of the fairy godmother in Cinderella. She had that twinkle in her eye and somehow being around her made you feel like she had known you forever. Her laugh was infectious, her smile was bright and she saw things as they were, good or bad she somehow could shine a positive light on it. She listened, she cared and any words of wisdom she bestowed on one was always positive and bright. I often wondered where she hid the magic wand.I was certain Sharon, of all people would win the battle with the nasty disease that took her from us. The chances I got to visit with her are precious to me. She was fighting a huge fight yet when I went to visit her she always had a smile on her face and talked about all the good in the world as she saw it. She was so proud of Stacey and Bobby and her grandchildren. She always felt blessed with what life had given her, even more so when she became ill. She wasn't one to think of herself. Her goal, I think, was to stick around and watch everyone be happy because that made her happy. Her and Jeanna together in the same room was a blessing in itself. Always positive, always smiling and always laughter to hold dear in the heart. Jeanna's and her children's dedication to the end is a true reflection of what family is all about. Sharon's light will continue to shine in the generations ahead. She is so very missed but I know and feel in my heart of hearts she is with all of us whose hearts she has touched. The next glass of Beaujolais Nouveau I shall raise to you my friend (wink)Looking for my butterfly.
