Decatur-Sharon K. Wright, 68, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services to celebrate Sharon’s life will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2014 at Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Senior Center and/or Homeward Bound, in lieu of flowers . Family also requests casual attire for services.
She was born October 10, 1945, in Decatur the daughter of Everett and Mary Fitzgerald. She worked in the banking industry in the trust department and retired after thirty-five years of service. She married Virgil Wright, and they shared forty-five wonderful years together. Virgil preceded her in death on November 8, 2009. She enjoyed vacations in Florida and Missouri with her husband Virgil. She also enjoyed going out to eat with all her friends, and most of all, spending time with her best friend “Squirt”.
She leaves behind brother –in-laws Ted and Fred, a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, special friends Kevin, Bob and Birdie.
She was reunited in Heaven with her husband Virgil, parents, and best friend Squirt.
