Sheila Lynn Brown-Bowles' Obituary
Sheila Brown-Bowles, 46, of Decatur passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 in St. Mary’s Hospital. God blessed our family with the gift of Sheila Lynn on April 15, 1967. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1985. Sheila worked in several law offices but her favorite job was for Steve Perbix, a very kind and generous boss.
Sheila leaves behind her mom Gloria Kramer, husband Mike and sons Jordan, Dalton and Griffin Brown; step sons, Dalton and Dakota. Other loving family members Tammy, Rocky, Melissa, Brenda, Brent, Laura Kay, Mark; many nieces and nephews especially Keegan 'Johnny Rotten'. Sheila had way too many friends to even begin to name.
Sheila was a giver always participating in charity events, some of which were Special Olympics, Relay for Life, Polar Plunge, Haunted House, Decatur Celebration and March of Dimes.
Sheila was preceded in death by her grandparents and first husband Chuck; Sheila and her family were fortunate to be cared for by Dr. Kairouz, Leigh Ann, Victoria staff at St. Mary's and DMH, Cancer Care Specialists. There are no words to express how much their love, care and compassion towards Sheila meant.
Funeral services to celebrate Sheila's life will be held 11am Friday, July 26, 2013 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery and visitation will be Thursday July 25, 2013 in the funeral home from 5-7pm.
