To Shirley’s family...I will miss seeing her at church with Kathy Gentry whenever we return to normal services. It was obvious she enjoyed being at church. She was a joy to be around. Now she is in God’s choir. 😍
Shirley is a great lady. I've grown up with her and I will miss her greatly. Some of my favorite memories are of Shirley being the senior member of our worship team at Central. I was proud that our group ran the spectrum of ages and Shirley was our rock. Whether she liked them or not, she sang her heart out on every newfangled song we threw at her. I also enjoyed seeing her acting chops in our silly skits and big musical productions. The thought that she is reunited with her love - the "Silver Squirrel" - makes me smile. Blessings and prayers of comfort and peace to Eric, Kathy and Mike and your families.
