Decatur-Shylin Lamontis Murphy Jr., infant son of Casey Knutt and Shylin Lamontis Murphy Sr. of Decatur, was placed in the loving arms of Jesus at 9:40 AM Monday, December 12, 2016 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Shylin Jr. leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents Casey and Shylin Sr., sisters Camariah and Carmen Murphy, grandparents Melissa and Taveil Rice, Deneca and Jacobe Jarrett, and Brian Murphy, great-grandma Karon Ginger, aunts Cerry Knutt and Shamyaa Murphy, uncles Mikey (Sam) Knutt, Travion Murphy, Shaquan Murphy, Quinton Murphy, Jaheim Murphy, and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
Shylin Jr. was greeted into Heaven by his great-grandpa Nial “Papi” Ginger Sr., two uncles, and one cousin.
Private family services will be held.
