Steven R. Howe's Obituary
Decatur – Steven R. Howe, 61, of Taylorville, formerly of Decatur, went to join his mom and granny at 9:25 am Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Taylorville Terrace.
Services to celebrate Steven’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment with the “Flight Home” ceremony will be at Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Shiners Hospital for Children, 2001 South Lindbergh Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63131. Steven was born on September 23, 1947 in Peoria, the son of Richard H. and Pearl M. (Calvert) Howe. He was a member of the Hope Unlimited Club, a former Gold Medal bowler, and a Charter member of Progress school. Steven was a long time camper, and especially loved the outdoors.
He leaves behind his father: Richard, sister: Nancy (Paul) Lineen of Decatur, two nieces: Kristi M. Poling of Philadelphia, PA, and Kathy S. Golden of Ridgefield, WA, and one great niece: Celeste Cuti of Ridgefield, WA.
