Steven D. Miller's Obituary
Steven Dwayne Miller, 69, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in Springfield, IL. Born on June 4, 1956, the son of Melvin and Lorraine (Workman) Miller.
Steven was an exceptionally hard worker. He spent his life working as a mechanic and adored working on cars and trucks. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Steven is survived by his daughter — Mary Reynolds of Decatur, IL; grandchildren — Jeremy Miller of Peoria, IL, Samantha Peters of Decatur, IL, Scott Williams of Decatur, IL, and Chloe Williams of Decatur, IL; great-granddaughter — Rachel Peters of Decatur, IL; and siblings — Toni Miller of Prophetstown, IL, Ronnie Miller of Maroa, IL, Donna Ohl of Assumption, IL, Tina Durbin of Pana, IL, Terri Miller of Decatur, IL, and Sandy Beck of Melbourne, FL.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents — Melvin and Lorraine Miller; and siblings — William Miller, Carl Miller, Kevin Miller, Keith Miller, Randy Miller, and Carol Miller.
