Sue Ann Hedding's Obituary
Sue Ann Hedding, 76, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away September 5, 2025, at home with her family by her side.
Sue was born in Decatur on December 26, 1948, the daughter of Bernard and Eulah (Leek) Kohlbecker. She married Terry Hedding on May 21, 1988, in Decatur. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her Cardinals baseball and her fur babies. She enjoyed camping, fishing, playing slots, and working in her yard and garden. She was very proud of her Firebird and loved getting it ready for shows.
Sue is survived by her husband Terry; daughters Bobbie Ward, Christie Bratcher, and Shannon Tucker; son Justin Hedding; sister Bobbie (Mike) Childs; grandchildren Andrea Weaver, Andrew Jones, Ashley Tillotson, Josh Tillotson, Brandon Boulware, Zach Hedding, Tyler Ledwig, and Isaiah Hedding. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Bernard “Sonny” (Janet) Kohlbecker, sister Diane (Tom) Queen, daughter Lacinda Boulware, 1 granddaughter, and 1 great-grandson.
