Tamara J. "Tammy" Stout's Obituary
Decatur-Tamara J. “Tammy” Stout, 69, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 in her home with her family by her side.
Tammy was born February 6, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Robert E. and Esther M. (Anderson) Miller. She was a licensed beautician and retired from Staley Credit Union. Tammy enjoyed traveling with her husband, painting, and arts and crafts. She married Robert Stout April 7, 1970. They shared over forty-five years together.
Tammy leaves behind her husband Bob of Decatur, daughter Carissa Messenger and husband Todd of Clinton, brothers Robert Miller and wife Nancy of Columbus, Ohio, and Carl Miller and wife Anita of Houston, Texas, and grandchildren Andrew and Amanda Stout and Rachael, Jacob, Matthew, Sarah, and Samuel Messenger.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents and son Stephen Stout.
The family would like to give a special thanks to DMH Hospice for their loving care.
Services to celebrate Tammy’s life will be 11 AM Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials in Tamara’s honor are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
