Tennie Mae Gordillo's Obituary
Tennie Mae Gordillo, 84, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020, at Prairie Rose Health Care Center in Pana.
Tennie was born November 26, 1935, in Red Boiling Springs, TN to Benton and Stacy (Carter) West. She married Luis L. Gordillo on April 30, 1953 in Clinton, IL. He passed away April 18, 2016. Tennie was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church of the Apostle in Decatur. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacy M. (Steve) Hansen; four grandchildren, Amber (Matt) Hosey, Jenna Gordillo, Allison Hansen and Madison Hansen; and two great-grandchildren, Jada Hosey and Mason Hosey.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Luis; her son, Michael L. Gordillo; three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Tennie Gordillo will be private with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association 2309 W White Oaks Dr Suite E, Springfield, IL 62704.
