Teresa Dawn Black's Obituary
Teresa Dawn Black passed away March 18, 2026, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 28, 1949, in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of Edith and Edmond Hicks. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1967. She owned and managed her business, Olsten Staffing, for over 20 years. She was a member of Harristown Foursquare Church.
Teresa will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 38 years, Fred Black; her sons Ted (Raquel) Smith, Tyler (Jessy) Smith; and her grandchildren Ramon, Danesia, Jane, Quincy, Elle, and Kai. She also leaves her loving sisters Rhonda, Jan, Roberta, Jeanne, Edmunda, and Tammy, along with her extended family Lyn, TJ, Trent, and Tristan. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and her little brother Tom.
