Terry L. Davis' Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terry L. Davis, a beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother and uncle, who peacefully passed on March 15, 2025 at the age of 73, in his home surrounded by family. Terry was a proud Army Veteran, Union Carpenter, and as he would say, "a jack of all trades".
A devoted family man, Terry was survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary K. Davis; his children, Holly Davis-Kitson, and Terry J. Davis (Stacy); his six grandchildren, Ashley Franklin, Gavin Kitson, Kaitlin Davis, Dreux Kitson, Aaron Davis, and Chloe Davis; and two great grandchildren, Aiden and Ayla.
Terry was a pillar of strength and love, a man whose presence in his family's life was unwavering. He was more than just a husband, father, and grandfather- he was a teacher, a coach, and a guiding hand through every challenge. His hard-working spirit showed in everything he did, whether he was building with his hands as a skilled carpenter or shaping the lives of those he loved with his wisdom and kindness. He was the one you could always count on, the steady foundation of his family, and his legacy will live on in the lessons he taught and the love he gave so freely.
A visitation service will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held the next day, Friday, March 21, at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at Macon County Memorial Park.
