Terry L Richert's Obituary
Terry L. Richert formerly of Decatur passed on to a better life on September 8, 2022.
Born to Mary and Walter Richert on December 20, 1946 in Bloomington IL. He served in the US Army from 1971 to 1973. He was a truck driver for 30 years and also worked for Chicagoland and Macon Speedways. He was a past president of Prairieland ABATE and a current member if Izaak Walton League of America. Upon retirement he moved to Riverview FL. He attended church at Cowboy UP Ministry in Florida.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 49 years, Billie Anne; son, Brad (Mandi) Richert of Virginia; siblings, Wanda (Fred) Rokosh of Colorado, Connie (Rusty) Vording of Mt. Zion, Don (Lyndi) Richert of Illiopolis; grandchildren, Rebeca, Natalie, Olivia, Jenna, Brady, Gracie and Taylor; bonus daughters, Michelle, Renee and Michelle as well as numerous extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, youngest brother Mark and great-nephew Klay.
A visitation will be held for Terry on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 5p – 8pm at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home 2091 N. Oakland Ave Decatur, IL 62526. A funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 1pm also at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow after services. The burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers the family would like donations in Terry’s name to be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
