STILLABOWER
HAMMOND- Terry E. 'Stilly' Stillabower, 67 of Hammond, passed away unexpectedly at 10:27 AM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in St. Mary’s Hospital Emergency Room.
The family invites friends to gather at the Hammond Community Center on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 5 to 8 PM to celebrate and remember Stilly's life followed by a wake at the Bulls Eye Tavern. Private family graveside services will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 in the Hammond Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Hammond Fire Department. Terry was born on December 18, 1942 in Decatur, the son of Alvin Eugene and Dorothea (Lowe) Stillabower. He retired from the labor hall where he had worked construction for J.L. Simmon of Decatur and Bodine Sewer of Mt. Zion. He previously owned and operated Stilly's Tavern in Hammond.
Surviving are his sons- John and Liza Stillabower of St. Joseph and Steve and Shannon Stillabower of Champaign, daughter- Leesa Pfeuffer of Florida, sister- Sheila Perkins of Coffee Springs, AL., grandchildren- Alexis Stillabower of Champaign, Justin Stillabower of Hammond, Jason Carberry of Mattoon, Trudy Keene and Carly Pfeuffer both of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mike.
He will be missed and loved by his family and many friends.
