So sorry to hear of your mothers passing. My own mother, Helen Rentfro, thought an awful lot of both her and your dear father also. I know she had a lot of good laughs and sincere conversations with her for the many years she sat in her beauty salon. They will now re unite again. I have known Mrs Thelma since I was very young, only great thoughts. Big hug to you all .Toni (Rentfro) Osseck
To all the Brilley Family-It is so hard to know where to start at times like this. As I told Susie when she called to tell of Thelma's passing that as I think back, in my mind 's eye are all the wonderful times and experiences that Paula and I had in Decatur, that it is hard to be sad. Even though at the end it is a sad time, I wish to think of what the Brilley Family meant to us and the good times. Mandi and Ali were 2 years old and 6 months old. They are 38 and 36 now. Wow how time flies. Because of all the wisdom and and guidance that Bob and Thelma gave us as a young Family over the years I for sure am where I am today because of our relationship with them. Bob and Thelma were special people, and will always be in my happy memory forever. They taught me what Family means both personally and professionally. I hope that someday that the Schnaer Family is as well thought of as the Brilley Family is!!Our love to you all at this time!Miles, Paula, Mandi Ali and Maddox (Mandi's 9 year old son) Schnaer
To the Family of Thelma Brilley:I just wanted to encourage you all, and let you know from someone that you don't know, that heaven has truly gained a flower for God's bouquet.I am a minister of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and have often worked as a bi-vocational Pastor. I had the opportunity to meet your Mother at the Macon County Eye Center. I spent four years in the Air Force and was an Airman in Charge of the Eye Clinic on a SAC Base. This training allowed me to support my family as I Pastored in Churches that could not pay a full time salary. Your mother was just as much a classy lady as she was a caring lady. We often talked of her loving husband Bob Senior, as I too tried my stint as a car salesman. For Bob II, you will probably remember me from the Mt Zion Steak and Shake, as we often talked about your Mother. My wife, Darlene and I will pray for you and your family as your grieve over your loss.God Bless you all;Dean Rose
