Thelma H. Nulf's Obituary
Thelma H. Nulf, 100, of Decatur, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 in Lincoln Rehabilitation Center.
Thelma was born April 19, 1914 in Warrensburg, IL, the daughter of John and Bertha (Devore) Helpingstine. She was a member of the West Side Church of the Nazarene. She married Ross W. Nulf. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Thelma leaves behind her stepsons, Bill Nulf of Oxnard, CA; Kurt Nulf of Chicago, IL; stepdaughter, Caroline Wayne of O’Fallon, IL; niece Carol Ann (John) Foster of Decatur, IL; David (Hayley) Helpingstine of Normal, IL; great-nephews, Jarrod (Jennifer and son Greyson) Foster; Seth Foster; Caleb Helpingstine; and several step-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ross; parents; stepson, Jim Nulf; and brother, William Helpingstine.
A graveside service to celebrate Thelma’s life will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Graceland Cemetery.
