Thomas "Tommyboy" Anderson's Obituary
Decatur-Thomas “Tommyboy” Anderson, 49, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 in his father’s home with his family by his side.
He was born December 13, 1964, in Decatur, the son of Gerald R. and Mary Ann (Pryde) Anderson. He was employed as a truck driver with CPC Logistics. He enjoyed golfing, music, singing and playing the guitar. He was a talented musician and computer guru that loved to teach others guitar and help with computer problems. He especially loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind his father Gerald of Decatur, brother Scott Anderson and Crystal of Mt. Zion, sister Lu Ann Nihiser and husband Jeff of Decatur, nieces Kelli Caplinger and husband Bob, Jade Anderson, Kaylin Cunningham, and Kortney Cunningham, and nephews Trace Anderson and Beau “BJ” Cunningham.
He was reunited in Heaven with his mother and grandparents.
Graveside services to celebrate Tom’s life will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Decatur YMCA or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
