Thomas Jay Ehrmantraut's Obituary
Thomas Jay Ehrmantraut, 60, of Warrensburg, IL, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 in his home with his family by his side.
Thomas was born on December 26, 1953 in Decatur the son of George Walter and Mary Winifred (Arnold) Ehrmantraut. He was retired from ADM. He played bass guitar for the bands Bethlehem Steel and Iron Horse. He married Debra Kay McAdamis.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Debra Kay; daughters, Kimberly Livingood (Anthony) of Latham, IL; Kelly Copeland of Latham, IL; mother, Mary Winifred Ehrmantraut of Decatur, IL; sisters, Julia Grider of Decatur, IL; Janet Ehrmantraut of California; and grandchildren: Tyler, Samantha, Chase, Madison, and Lane.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Walter Ehrmantraut, brother-in-law, Leonard Grider, and sister-in-law, Sandra Cunningham.
The family would like to thank Dr. Esparaz and the staff at Cancer Care Specialist of Central Illinois and DMH Hospice especially, Jim, sandy, and Gail.
Funeral service to celebrate the life of Thomas will be 11 AM Monday, January 20, 2014 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Ruppert officiating. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Boilingsprings Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family.
