Thomas Joseph Maloney's Obituary
Thomas Joseph Maloney, 91, of Decatur, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 in Hickory Point Christian Village with his family by his side.
Tom was born November 18, 1926 in Jersey City, New Jersey the son of Michael and Annie (Droney) Maloney. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Tom retired from A.E. Staley Manufacturing Company where he served as an International Comptroller. He married Kathleen Brennan February 20, 1954 in Staten Island, New York.
Tom is survived by his wife Kathleen of Decatur, children Ann Neal of Decatur, Theresa (Mace) Green of Gainesville, Florida, Maureen (Bill) Neff of Decatur, and Michael Maloney of Champaign, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Memorial Mass to celebrate Tom’s life will be held at a later date.
