Thomas E. White's Obituary
Thomas Edgar White, 72, of Decatur passed away in Decatur Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 29, 2012.
Thomas was born December 9, 1939 in Decatur the son of Walter Washburn and Myrtle (Peel) White. He worked as an autobody repairman and painter for Newell's Autobody where he was an expert pinstriper. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Kaskaskia bass Club and the Glen Shows Bass Club. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed playing Party Poker. He married Bernadine Tucker on December 20, 1963.
Surviving are his wife, Bernadine, grandchildren, Timothy E. white Jr. (Esther) of Decatur; Amanda Bodine (Jason) of Decatur; great-grandchildren, Naomi, Abigail, Clara Belle, Landin, and Carter; friends, Darrell Gillmore (Ileen) of Decatur; and his dogs, Boomer, Mia, and Toot.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Homer Walton, son Timothy E. White, brother, Walter James White, and sister, Doris Jean White.

Services celebrating Tom's life will be 10 AM Saturday November 3, 2012 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home and conclude with the 'Flight home' ceremony. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family.
