Timothy Charles Cassidy, 60, of Decatur, Il, passed away at 10:24 A.M. on Wednesday (07-17-2024) at his home.
Tim was born on May 4, 1964, in Decatur, IL, the son of Charles Eugene Cassidy and Eloise (Belden) Cassidy. He married Lillie Mae Wallace on July 10, 2011, in Decatur, IL.
Tim was a member of The Cross Church in Decatur, IL. He played the bass guitar for many years and would also play bass at church. He worked as a laborer for A.D.M. for many years.
Tim is survived by his wife Lillie of Decatur, IL; son: Alexander Charles Cassidy and wife Josie J. Cassidy of Decatur, IL; daughter: Ellie Christine Cassidy of Decatur, IL; stepchildren: Serena Baldwin and husband Jason, Rachel Dulgar, Carma Heidecker; nine grandchildren; and one sister: Mary Morrow and husband Terry of Decatur, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday (07-20-2024) at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service time. A graveside service will follow the funeral at Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL.
