Trois "Lee" V. Redding's Obituary
Trois “Lee” V. Redding, 89, of Decatur, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 in McKinley Court Care Centre.
Lee was born August 21, 1925 in Casey, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Bernice (Wildman) Myers. Lee worked at F.W. Woolworth’s Company for 40 years. She was a member of Izaac Walton League for 41 years, and a member of the Bridgestone/Firestone Retirement Club. She loved to travel, and doing crafts. Lee married Ray L. Redding, Sr. on November 26, 1961 in Decatur, and they shared 53 wonderful years together.
Lee leaves behind her husband; son, Ray (Sheri) Redding, Jr. of Decatur; and step-grandchildren, Lucas and Warren Kater.
She is preceded in death by her parents and six brothers.
Services to celebrate Lee’s life will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Lee may be made to East Park Baptist Church.
