Velma Pauline Fellin's Obituary
Decatur – Velma Pauline Fellin, 86, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Imboden Creek Living Center.
Velma was born July 31, 1930, in Carlinville, the daughter of Franklin and Nola Maude Graham. She retired from Federal Kemper Insurance and was a member of First Baptist Church, Mt. Zion. Velma married Charles Fellin July 9, 1949 in Carlinville and he preceded her in death March 9, 1982. Also preceding her in death were her sisters: Eileen Klaus and Wilma Roberson and brother, Lyndal Graham.
Velma is survived by her daughters: Debbie (Chuck) Miller of Warrenville and Kathy (Curt) Carter of Mt. Zion; grandchildren: Amy (Tom) Rossi of Naperville, Scott (Lynee’) Miller of Maple Park, Andy (Megan) Carter of Jackson, WY, Jeff (Beth) Miller of Schaumburg, Andrea (Sean) Higgins of Monticello, Amber (Trent) Thompson of Sullivan and Matt (Jen) Miller of Lake In The Hills; 11 great grandchildren; sisters: Erma Carrigan and Nadine Brockmiller and brother, Marvin Graham; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Service’s to celebrate Velma’s life will be 10 am, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home; visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial may be made to First Baptist Church, Mt. Zion.
Velma will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family.
