Vicki was a great friend when I was young; our parents played cards together on the weekends & being the "older woman" (by 2 years!) she was fun to hang with & learn from. My parents & I even got to spend the night at her house during the ice storm back in '67 because they had a stove that had HEAT! We all slept on the floor in the kitchen & it was almost like camping out. The trees were bent & frozen to the ground but we were inside where it was warm & fun. We rode bikes in the summer & played dress up, the first time I'd tried make up too! We lost touch as we got older, but I will never forget her. She was special.
Candi and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed many good times playing bunco with Vicki. Take comfort in that she is free from pain and reunited with Ross. God bless you all.
Although Vicki and I had our ups and downs, I always knew I could count on her if I needed something. Not only was she my secretary and coworker she was my friend. I'm just sorry we hardly saw each other after I retired. RIP with Ross.
