I always looked for info on Virgil Coffman after I read about his purchase of the Bumble Bee Carmaro. I could not remember everything about the article but the thing that stuck in my mind was his relative said. " He is very optimistic". To this day his attitude inspires and pushes me to live my life with the same optimism.I know his family was so proud of him.

I remember taking care of May at the nursing home and Virgil would come in faithfully evernight to see her and help with her. He was a amazing person. I havent seen him in years but ive thought of him alot thru the years. I'm so sorry for your lose. May Jehovah God give you the strenght you need to get thru this hard time in your lives.Rev 21:3 & 4
I was lucky enough to have Aunt May and Uncle Virgil take me in after my Mother died when I was 16 until my graduation two years later. When Aunt May was ill, My daughter Stephanie and I spent a couple of weeks with them in Decatur and she was able to enjoy being throughly spoiled by Uncle Virgil and has kept a small candy box from the candy he bought her filled with her memories. I am glad that about 11 years ago my husband was able to meet Uncle Virgil. I am just sorry I procrastineated more visits and now it is too late. Uncle Virgil – you are a fantastic Great Uncle! Always a great sense of humor and full of so much knowledge. I wanted to get to Decatur to see you … and things got in the way.
