Virginia Sue Curlin's Obituary
Virginia Sue Curlin, 91, of Decatur, passed away peacefully September 18, 2018 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Sue was born March 30, 1927 in Murray, KY, the daughter of Milburn Bryan and Genora Ann (Adams) Holland. She married James Curlin on October 31, 1953 in Argenta, IL.
Sue was a teacher of business at MacArthur High School. She was also a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed music and was an avid supporter of the Millikin Decatur Symphony Orchestra and Opus 24.
Surviving are her daughter in law, Elizabeth Curlin; grandchildren, Laura Curlin (Matt Nichols) of San Francisco, CA, James Curlin of Fort Collins, CO and Maggie Curlin of Chicago, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; son, Bryan Curlin; brother, Prentice Holland and sister, Juanita Lee.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
