Virginia L. “Ginger” Rollins, 67, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away November 13, 2019, at her residence in Caledonia, MI.
Ginger was born July 4, 1952, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Francis and Opal (Rhodes) Hunt. She graduated from Stephen Decatur High School. She married Christopher Rollins on June 9, 1973, in Decatur, IL. The couple moved to Grand Rapids, MI, in the late 1970’s.
Ginger served many years as a client services specialist for the International Paper Company. In her leisure time, she was an avid reader and enjoyed genealogy research. She took several trips with family members to various locations throughout the Mid-West digging out details of her family history.
Her husband, Chris, both parents, and her brother, Phillip L Hunt, preceded her in death. Surviving are her brother-in-law, David Rollins, two nephews, Eduard F. Hunt and William C. Hunt and several cousins.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the American Lung Association or to a charity of your choice.
