Ginny was a member of the nursing faculty at Richland Community College from August 2003 through May 2018. During that time, she provided students with a wonderful foundation for their nursing careers. Graduates described her as being patience, wise, and humorous and expressed gratitude for her guidance in their learning. Ginny was one of the first nursing faculty at Richland to embrace the use of new technology in the classroom. She learned to use the college’s human patient simulators to bring course content to life for her students and began posting learning materials and giving tests online. The faculty and staff in the Health Professions division at Richland are sadden by her passing. We offer our sincerest condolences to Ginny’s family.

Ginny was a classmate of mine with the Taylorville Class of 1970. My memories of Ginny as a very happy go lucky, always smiling and always going at a speed of lightning bring a smile. My sincere sympathy to her family and friends, including furry friends and all those she helped through the years with her generous kindness. With her love of flying, may she be soaring high above the stars to a heaven so deserving.
