Virginia Pasley's Obituary
Oreana-Virginia Pasley, 96, of Oreana, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at McKinley Court in Decatur.
Virginia was born November 8, 1919 in Warrensburg, Illinois, the daughter of William L. and Gladys Perkins. She was a sales associate with Montgomery Ward retiring after thirty years of service. Virginia was a member of the Forsyth United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, cooking, and playing bunco with the Oreana Bunco Group. She married Earl Pasley on March 17, 1943. He preceded her in death in 2008.
Virginia leaves behind her children, Donald (Joan) Pasley of Bryan, OH; and Marie Vicher of Murphysboro, IL; grandchildren, Brock (Mandy) Pasley of Bowling Green, OH; and Allysia (Jon) Kelley of Springfield, IL; and great-grandchildren, Brogan and Ella Pasley of Bowling Green, OH.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Donald Perkins and William Good Jr., great-grandson, Joseph Brock Pasley.
Services to celebrate Virginia’s life will be 11 AM Friday, January 29, 2016 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Township Cemetery. Memorials in honor of Virginia may be made to the Forsyth United Methodist Church.
