Vivian Anne Hebel, 96, of Decatur passed away at 12:25 AM on Thursday, February 03, 2011 in Lincoln Manor Nursing Home.
Visitation will be 2:00 ' 4:00 Saturday, February, 5, 2011 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
Vivian was born on July 16, 1914 in Decatur the daughter of James A. and Marie Margaret (Mattes) Mayberry. She was a member of the sweet Adeline's and the Boiling Springs Church of God where she was the former choir director. She worked at Jenkins Music Company making Celestes and she also worked at K-Mart.
She is survived by her sons, Don L. Theobald of Decatur; David A. Theobald of Texas; daughters, Sally Hubner (Roy) of Decatur; Carol Williams of Decatur; sister, Joy Browning of South Carolina; 15 grand children, 26 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way, and long haired Chihuahua Christy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, one son, Richard M. Theobald, one brother, James Mayberry and one sister, Kathryn Oliver.
