Wallace D. Bean's Obituary
Wallace D. Bean, 90, of Decatur, IL died Friday January 12, 2018 at Fair Havens Christian Village.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home in Decatur. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services at the funeral home.
Burial will be privately held at a later date at Graceland Cemetery.

Wallace was born April 26, 1927 in Decatur, IL the son of James A. and Marie (Kollak) Bean. He married Gertrude “Trudy” Battles on May 6, 1950.
Wallace was a veteran of the US Navy and had served during WWII and the Korean War. He was a boilermaker with A.E. Staley’s. During his leisure time, Wallace would enjoy bowling.
Surviving are his wife, Trudy; children, David Bean and his wife Kathie of Decatur, Kenneth Bean and his wife Rosemarie of Decatur, Julia Wrigley and her husband Paul of Decatur; siblings, Doris, Virginia and James; grandchildren, Angela, Darrell, Gary and Justin Bean; and great grandchildren, Kirsten, Erika, Hannah, Angela, Daniel and Dillon Bean.
