Stewardson-Wanda Dull, 69 of Stewardson, passed away 12:19 am Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Effingham.
Graveside to celebrate Wanda’s life will be 10:00 am Monday, February 8, 2010 in Fairlawn Cemetery with Pastor Joel Ruppert officiating. The “Flight Home “ceremony will conclude services. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Dull family. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is assisting her family with these arrangements. Wanda was born on September 7, 1940 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Dale and Vera (Schwendamann) Pembroke. She had served as a Boy Scout mom, she was employed by nursing homes, and Wanda had a great sense of humor.
Left to cherish her memories are her four daughters Stella Kinney of Decatur, Ina Porter of Pana, IL, Belinda Porter of Decatur, and Debbie Wood of Springfield; her two sons David Dull, Jr and Steve; her brother David (Shirley) Pembroke of Nokomis, her sisters Norma Reatherford of Pana, IL and Ila Diercks of Nokomis; several grand and great grandchildren.
Wanda will be reunited in Heaven with her parents, her brother John Pembroke, and her grandson Joshua “Luke” Dull.
Wanda’s family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Sue Buzzard for her love, friendship and special care given to Wanda.
