Wendy Sue Hanson, 60, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away December 1, 2025, in her home, in the arms of her beloved family.
Wendy was born in Decatur on November 3, 1965, the daughter of Michael and Sandra (Jones) Collins. She married Kenneth Hanson on August 8, 1996, in Decatur. Together they raised one daughter, Janie Lynn.
Wendy is survived by her husband Kenneth; daughter Janie Lynn (Kolton) Hearn; beloved dog Courtney Lynn; and a host of cherished family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
