Wilda R. Moore's Obituary
Wilda R. Moore, 89, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services to celebrate Wilda’s life will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Wilda may be made to Macon Resources.
Wilda was born April 15, 1925 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of William and Myrtle (Moran) Daniels. She loved going camping, and spending time taking care of her children. She met Everett L. Moore during WWII when she worked at the munition’s plant in Illiopolis, and they married on May 25, 1946 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2006.
Wilda leaves behind her sons, Scott (Traci) Moore of Decatur; Jack (Linda) Moore of Decatur; Ron (Judy) Moore of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Kathy (Ron) Weaver of Decatur; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jennifer) Moore of Decatur; Andrew (Deana) Moore of Decatur; Jonathan (Bekki) Moore of Decatur; Kayla (Jestin) Ingram of Decatur; Courtney (James) Senkiw of Decatur; Hannah (Cameron) Joyner of Decatur; Brady Moore of Decatur; Todd Fulk of Decatur; Brandi Weaver of Decatur; Amanda (Michael) Lambert of Christiana, TN; Amber (Josh) Baker of Fayetteville, TN; Tina (Gene) Ellis of Missouri; Tracy Moore of Niantic, IL; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett; parents; and sons, Jerry Moore; Everett “Butch” Moore, Jr.; and Robert Joe “Bobby” Moore.
