Willetta A. Pilcher's Obituary
Willetta A. Pilcher, 80, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Symphony Nursing Home in Decatur.
Willetta was born August 26, 1934 in Hord, to William B and Ellen (Blair) Schniepp. She married Cecil G. Pilcher on March 15, 1953 in Decatur Foursquare.
She was a member of Hillside Tabernacle. She was an ordained minister and pastored at a church in Clay County, IL.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Cecil; four sons, Paul (Ceal) Pilcher of Shelbyville, Dan (Darla) Pilcher of Westerville, OH, Mark (Deanna) Pilcher of Albuquerque, NM and Jon “JP” (Theresa Musick) Pilcher of Decatur; two daughters, Phyllis (Tom) Robertson of Decatur and Dolores (Paul) Roman of Warren, MI; one brother, Ken (Polly) Schniepp of Monticello; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Keith and Gene Schniepp and one grandson, Jeremy Pilcher.
Services to celebrate the life of Willetta Pilcher will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2014 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with the Pastor Don Horath, officiating. Visitation will be from 3p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hillside Tabernacle or donor’s choice.
