William Thomas "Bill" Ducharme's Obituary
William Thomas “Bill” DuCharme, 81, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015, in Symphony of Decatur.
Bill was born December 11, 1933 in Tomahawk, WI, the son of Henry J. and Ida (Marcouiller) DuCharme. He attended school at Marquette, Michigan and at St. Teresa High School in Decatur. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Bill was a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus and he enjoyed fishing, reading, and gardening.
Bill leaves behind his son, William W. (Patrice) DuCharme of McKinney, TX; daughters, Sharon (Mike) Lee of Batavia, IL, Suzette (Mike) Lindgren of Lantana, TX; stepson, Anthony (Melinda) Sparks of California; sister, Bernadette Lipe of Decatur, IL; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother.
Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Bill’s life will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Rev. Richard Weltin, celebrant Burial will be at a later date in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Bill may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
