William "Billy Bob" Davis' Obituary
William Robert “Billy Bob” Davis, 87, of Bement, formerly of Decatur, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at Bement Health Care Center, with his loving family by his side.
Billy Bob was born July 7, 1932, in Decatur, IL, to Charles Franklin and Anna Charlotte (Knapp) Davis. He married Patricia Marilyn Beals on March 14, 1981, in Decatur, IL.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patricia; his four children, Ralph (Tina Ross) Griffiths, Regina (John Sauter) Mitchell, Resa (David) Benz-Spiker and Stacey (Bubby) Stine; his daughter-in-law, Angela Davis; his son-in-law, Phillip Andersen; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Kurt William Davis and Steven Michael Davis; his daughter, Mary Griffiths-Andersen; and two brothers, Charles Davis and Donald Davis.
The family would like to give special thanks to Bement Healthcare Center and Harbor Light Hospice.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Billy Bob Davis will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Harbor Light Hospice, Decatur & Macon County Animal Shelter or Cerro Gordo Brethren Church.
