William “Bill” Eugene Crawford, 84, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Decatur Memorials Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born September 16, 1932, in Decatur, IL to Orville and Edna May (Smith) Crawford. While in the United States Army, Bill married Marlene Crew on April 15, 1953, in Decatur, IL. Bill was a member of Clazier local 1168 for more than 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marlene of Decatur; three sons, Paul (Debbie) Crawford of DeSoto, Bob (Rita) Crawford of Mt. Zion and Rick (Mitzy) Crawford of Lake Fork; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Eddie Crawford and his sister, Norma Jean Walters.
To celebrate the life of Bill Crawford, visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home.
