William (Bruce) Fletcher's Obituary
William (Bruce) Fletcher, 90, of Decatur, IL, passed away on January 1, 2025, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Bruce was born on August 25, 1934, in Decatur, IL, the son of William J. and Thelma D. Fletcher. He married Barbara Jean Badorek on February 15, 1954. She preceded him in death on March 1, 2021.
Bruce was a pipe fitter/welder for many years at Local 65.
He is survived by his children: Holly L. Fletcher – Barding and husband Doug of Decatur, IL, and Amber Wiley of Mt. Zion, IL; and two grandchildren: Casey Todd Wiley and Corey Gene Wiley, both of Decatur, IL.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Todd Fletcher; two brothers: John Fletcher and Tom Fletcher; and one sister Ida Belle Fletcher.
