Patty, Lee Ann & Lynne, my prayers to our God are being offered for you at this time. Bill always modeled for me what a man of God looks and sounds like. His love for his Savior was evident in how he dealt with that annoying little neighbor boy. Patty, you and Bill loved me unconditionally for so many years. I thank God for allowing me to be influenced by you both and seeing righteousness in action. I love you all and I will see you all on that heavenly shore. In Christ our hope is found.John Travis, Jr Rolla, Missouri
I have many warm memories of Bill and Patty as loving parents of my dear friend, Lee Ann. What a blessing they were as Christian parents to Lee and Lyn! I always felt welcomed and comfortable at their home. My prayers and loving sympathy are sent to Patty, Lee and Lyn as well as the extended family. May God give you strength and healing. Love to all. I have many fond memories of Bill and Patty Gross as loving parents of my dear friend, Lee Ann. They always welcomed me over to their house and I remember staying there during one very bad winter storm because we didn't have a fireplace and the electricity was out for quite a while. Speaking from personal experience, losing a loving parent is one of the most difficult things in life. I send my deepest heartfelt condolences to Patty, Lee Ann and Lyn as well as the extended family.
Patty, our thought and prayers have been with you during this time. When we first met Bill we were very impressed with his smile, friendly greeting, and his desire to help. We saw Bill share God's love through his gift of friendship to everyone he came in contact with. Tom and I often talked about him and how he impacted the church. We enjoyed knowing him and working with him.

We are praying for the family during this time of grief, but we thank God that those of us who have been saved by trusting our Lord Jesus Christ who died and rose again do not grieve as those who have no hope. 1 Thes. 4.13-18 His death and ressurrection are guarantees that those who trust Him will be raised again to forever be with the Lord. That is comfort!!!
