William Joseph Henneman's Obituary
William Joseph “Red” Henneman, 81, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away March 2, 2024, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
William was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 11, 1942, the son of William and Eleanor (Duessel) Henneman Sr. He married Henrietta Moynahan on July 5, 1983. William worked as a supervisor at Mueller’s in Decatur. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, car racing, and following his favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals.
William is survived by his children: Michael (Julie MacDonna) Henneman of Decatur and Terri (Scott) McLeod of North Carolina; stepchildren Debbie (Duane) Park, Bill (Sherri) Miller, Cathy Miller Gowler, and John (Tanya) Miller; grandchildren Zachary Ludwick, Wade Ludwick, Courtney McLeod, Reece Henneman, Rance Henneman, and Blake Henneman; great-grandsons Luka Ludwick and Caden Henneman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Henrietta, son Chris Henneman, and grandson Justin Henneman.
Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home is providing cremation services for William. A graveside service will be held at 1pm Friday, March 8 in Graceland Cemetery.
