Stephen,Our hearts are heavy today as we can't be with you in person to stand with you on this sad occasion. Faith in God will give you strength in any challenge you may face today and always.I couldn't help by reminisce about the "good old days" and of course I had to include my brother, Ted in those memories. Bill and Ted could probably get on your mom's last nerve during some of their antics. One morning (in their teen age years) I remember Ina scolding them because they had eaten a whole box of cereal between the two of them…I guess there wasn't anything left for the rest in the household. Of course, being the angel that I was…it delighted me that they had gotten into trouble. : )Bill never knew a stranger and it makes me smile to read the other tributes, knowing he had loving and caring people near he and Sue. Sue,My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I can still remember the stories Bill used to tell after he would get home from having been in Alaska. I know you will have many memories to cherish. Don is buried in a section of Butler Cemetery in Springfield and believe it or not Fred Hendricks died almost a year later but is buried in the same section towards the end of section.

Bill Buxton, My friend for only a short time. But the times we shared were plentyful. The conversations and information shared over breakfast, lunch, or dinner, depending on the time of day it was. In the short time we had together, Bill had become my best friend!! I will never forget my best friend and dinner buddy, Bill Buxton!!!!!
