Just a note about one of Billy’s favorite hobbies. Water-skiing. He was a long time member of SKI. He was instrumental in building the first jump ramp launched on the PITS Water-Ski lake at Harristown. When I met Billy in 1971 he was affectionately tagged as “2 buoy Bill”. Story was he was skiing well and attended the State tournament on Lake Springfield. He skied a total of two buoys. He was not only disappointed but so was his whole fan base from SKI
So sad to hear of Bill passing. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Bill. He was my first love...summer of '
