William Anthony Lones' Obituary
Decatur- William “Tony” Lones, 57, of Decatur, passed away in his home Wednesday, April 11, 2012.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tony will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Central United Methodist Church in Decatur, a visitation will start at 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to Central United Methodist Church, or to Camp One Way.
Tony was born on February, 12, 1955 in Chattanooga, TN, the son of Henry and Melba (Kinsey) Lones. He married Elizabeth Eileen Plank on October 9, 1976.
He was a graduate of Ringgold High School, Dalton Jr. College both in Georgia, and Robert Morris College in Springfield, IL. He started his career as a hospital lab tech in Chattanooga, TN, and then went to work in the Lab at Tennessee Valley Authority Nuclear Power Plant. From there he was recruited to Illinois Power, Clinton Nuclear Plant. His last place of employment was with Archar Daniels Midland where he had amazing support from his bosses and fellow co-workers.
He is survived by his wife, mother; Melba, children; Stephen, Jonathan, Mary, and Sarah, sister; Rhonda (Alan) Perry of Georgia, Aunts: Cleo and Joy and Uncle Joe Kinset.
He was preceded in death by his father and one son Michael.

We would also like to thank our nurse Penny from Harbor Light Hospice, Elaine McNish nurse sister-in-law and Judi Curry nurse friend. Our thanks also go out to Chaplain and good friend, Tim Haworth from Harbor Light Hospice and Family Pastor Jim Poole, Central United Methodist Church.
